Doodle a Gavel
Simple tutorial for drawing a gavel
Tutorial
Step 1: Start by drawing two ovals with a pencil.
Step 2: Draw a curved line at the bottom of the top oval. From there, draw two parallel lines to the bottom circle. Connect the lines at the bottom with a curved line as illustrated above.
Step 3: Trace around the pencil lines drawn in Step 1 as illustrated above.
Step 4: Draw another oval under the first two ovals.
Step 5: Add two side lines to the oval. Connect the sides with a curved line at the bottom. Shade the space with slanted lines.
Step 6: To the left of the hammer head, add a small curved rectangle. Add a small circle down and to the left as shown above.
Step 7: Connect the curved rectangle and the circle with the handle shape as illustrated above. Connect the curved rectangle to the hammer head with a small line.
Step 8: Doodle in some lines and dots for detail.
Step 9: Add motion lines.
