Simple tutorial for drawing a basket

Tutorial

• Step 1: Start by drawing an oval with a pencil.

• Step 2: Continuing with a pencil, draw an arc above the oval for the handle of the basket.

• Step 3: Draw a curved line for the shape of the basket.

• Step 4: Along the arc, doodle in a twisted handle as illustrated above.

• Step 5: Use your pencil to draw another oval inside the first one to mark the rim of the basket.

• Step 6: Add backward S-shaped lines around the rim of the basket.

• Step 7: Continue adding lines around the entire rim.

• Step 8: Darken the lines under the rim, and shade in the center of the basket as shown.

• Step 9: Draw some vertical lines on the side of the basket.

• Step 10: Add curved lines in between the vertical lines.

• Step 11: Continue adding curved lines between all the vertical lines.

• Step 12: Finish with a shadow.
