We are going to use 4 Zentangle patterns to create a Cookie Zentangle.
Project Goals
To make art that releases your happy hormones
To relax and feel at peace
To clear your mind of worries and experience the present moment
To experience the benefits of Zentangle making
What You Need
About 45 minutes
A Black felt-tip pen
A ruler or straight edge
A small square piece of art paper. (I use 4 ½” by 4 ½” square paper tiles.)
Cookie Zentangle Tutorial

Step 1: Start by drawing a square border.
Step 2: Inside the border, divide the square into 4 quadrants.

Step 3: In the top left quadrant, doodle in our “Scattered Cookie” pattern. See the tutorial here.
Step 4: In the top right quadrant, draw our “Checkered in Checkered” pattern. See the tutorial here.

Step 5: For the bottom left quadrant, doodle our “Checkered Frame” pattern. See the tutorial here.
Step 6: In the last quadrant, draw our “Chocolate Chips and Dots” pattern. See the tutorial here.

Step 7: Draw lines in the border as illustrated above.
Step 8: Color in every other box created in Step 7.
