Doodle a Coffee Cup
Simple tutorial for doodling a coffee cup with polka dots
Step 1: Start with an oval
Step 2: Draw the shape of the cup
Step 3: Draw the handle and base of the cup
Step 4:Â Draw a downward curve along the upper rim. Leave space between the lower rim and draw along the rim to close off the shape.
Step 5: Draw a spiral pattern in the shape
Step 6: Fill in the shape. Be sure to leave some negative space around the spiral.
Step 7: Draw a cloud-like shape around the cup for a doodle doily
Step 8: Add dots in between each hump of the doily
Step 9: Using a pencil, draw intersecting diagonal lines
Step 10: To make polka dots, draw a dot on each intersection
Step 11: Finish off with some doodle steam
Done! Your coffee is ready.
